Reflexology, Maternity Reflexology, Baby Massage and Reiki, in Heald Green, Cheadle, Cheshire
Hello, let me introduce myself. My name is Anne Holloway BSc(Hons),PGCE, MAR.MCAR. and during 2008 I successfully completed a BSc(Hons) in Complementary Therapies in Practice, being awarded a First Class Honours degree at Salford University.I have been a practicing reflexologist for 7 years and am member of the Association of Reflexologists and following my degree, and a PGCE from UCLAN University, I teach Biology at a local college.
I am a Clinical Reflexologist, Maternity Reflexology Practitioner, Infant Massage Instructor, Bodywork Therapist and Aromatherapist and I am also a Reiki Master.
I work with clients who want to engage in pre-conception care and clients who are pregnant. It is thought that Reflexology may shorten second stage labour, help mother and baby to bond, help lactation and shorten post-partum recovery time.
It also made sense to me to provide Baby Massage courses to continue the care of Mother and Baby. It may help with communication, and crying is part of babies' communication. Sleep and digestion may also benefit as can babies with colic. Every baby is an individual however, so all babies do not respond the same way at the same time. Mums, Dads, Grandparents and siblings can also learn to do this simple, powerful technique.

June 3rd 2008 - Baby boy - 6lb 4oz - No pain relief used, just reflexology during labour.
Just as I was thinking that all my clients were in cahoots to produce a fotball team, we have 2 new arrivals - both girls.

October 2009 Just to even things out a baby boy and baby girl made their appearance in the world. Congratulations to both sets of new Mums and Dads.
29th June 2010 my first Grandchild - a boy - Joshua George was born, breaking the recent run of girls. The light of my life weighed 8lb 7oz, was a week early and just 3 pushes and he arrived. My daughter took full advantage of having a Reflexologist in the faimly, had treatments all through her pregnancy and had 2 sessions 48 hours before the birth.

I am a Reiki Master and offer Reiki sessions to rebalance chakras and energy fields. Reiki is a particularly effective therapy in stress reduction and for life coaching session. Giving you the tools to help yourself deal with whatever challenges life presents.
